National Institute for Development and Research (NIDR), a Research Consultancy, New Baneshwor, Shankhamul Road, Kathmandu, is looking for energetic and dynamic candidates for the following position to facilitate Research Projects in the district:

Position

• District Focal Person: 75 persons (one for each district)

Qualification:

• At least Bachelors degree in Rural Development, Development Studies, Social Science, Management and other relevant stream.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years working experience in district level NGOs or research consultancies or other institutions and currently working in the district head quarter.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with local level NGOs and government agencies during the research period.
• Support to conduct Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), district level workshop and seminars for the research projects.
• Participate in meeting, seminar, and workshop in the district level conducted by different institutions.
• Link district level research relevant tasks to NIDR head office.
